about

„Suma Covjek is an attraction and their concerts are a memorable experience.“ – SRF3

Šuma Čovjek clean up the clichés of classical Balkan pop. The Swiss with migration backgrounds sing in French, Croatian and Arabic. The languages flow so harmoniously into each other that one has the feeling of understanding them all. This is certainly not least due to the lovingly arranged songs: melancholic ballads, rhythmic pop-rock pieces and rap tracks peppered with furious brass parts.

Šuma Čovjek just release their second studio album „Fata Morgana“ (January-2022). The album was created in a time of great doubts. It remained unknown where the journey with these songs would go, when concerts or a tour would be possible. Through this fog of uncertainty, we drew a mirage of new beginnings in the distance.

„On a parfois besoin au bout de la route d’une Fata Morgana“
Fata Morgana – Šuma Čovjek

Šuma Čovjek released their first album, “No Man’s Land”, in 2018. The accompanying single „Bouge ton cœur“ was one of the most played songs on SRF3 in 2018. The highlights of their concert tours so far have been performances at the Montreux Jazz Festival, Open Air St. Gallen, Zermatt Unplugged, Moon&Stars Locarno, Rock Oz’Arene, Heitere Openair, Winterthurer Musikfestwochen and many more.
